RE: I can’t wait for the midterms.
I predict a small gain from the Left. Not enough however to make a giant impact. Trumps base is intact. Id even submit that it may expand by election day if the economy continues to grow..the investigations end up nowhere... and the NK issue comes to fruition as hoped. People vote with their stomachs. Always have...always will. A lot can happen in the next 6 months..but at this point I see nothing that would indicate a major shift in Washington.

RE: I can’t wait for the midterms.
Don't you know that the Dems like Mach and Tom are rooting hard for the talks between Trump and Fat Boy to fail. They would rather have a nuclear threat to America from NK than have Trump get all the votes he would garner for the Republicans in the midterms if he succeeds to denuclearize NK. It is always team over country for the Dems.

You know, there's a special election next week in Arizona. District went for Trump by 21 in 2016. Neither candidate has much of a scandal around them. Both are female. GOP candidate has spent more money. Far fewer minorities, and an older electorate than the national, county, or state averages. This is a suburban district, but its not a well off suburban district. This district strongly supported Joe Arpaio.

Are you predicting that the GOP will win that seat by 17 percentage points? If not, what makes the Arizona 8th CD different than other districts that makes it more favorable to Democrats?

Actual data point is coming up on Tuesday.

Why do you continuously harp on the absolute fat-asss whoopin your President put on yer gal?

Who cares? As Tip famously said, “All politics are local”.

We get one national opportunity to offer a referendum and national mandate once every four years.

Other than that? All about the local candidates.

Find a new schtick.

Special elections where your bankrupt party can concentrate the little bit of resources it has in attempt to push the scam that you’re “winning”.

lololol

Keep thinking you've got the midterms in the bag.

Define “in the bag”.

The economy is roaring, Trump’s approval continues to rise, he is on the edge of scoring a major foreign policy victory, and Russiagate and all the other scams the alt-left has pushed for the past 2 years have collapsed.

On current trajectory, I project the dems to make minimal gains in the House and actually lose seats in the Senate.

Let me know if we need to bump the 2016 threads to see whose prognostications need to be taken more seriously.

I avow this.

Refreshing folks, no?!?

Damn!

Who was it that first coined that phrase?

Local DC guy if I recall correctly.

That was on of.my Mother’s favorite responses when I’d hit her up for beer money to go get drunk in Georgetown.

So, you need walking around money, Hunh? Hahaha.

Collusion.. he won a rigged election, no way HRC was going to lose, he colluded with Russians and got dirt on her, or that's the theory but so far no evidence which leads to...

Obstruction of Justice for firing Comey, McCabe , and saying out loud to confidants that he wanted to fire Mueller...

Unfit because he tweets and has two scoops.

He's a liar, he didn't bring NK to the table, Rodman, China, South Korea, and Pompeo did.

I'll wait for Mueller to wrap up his investigation though. That's why I put soon enough.

They have him dead to rights on 4 articles of impeachment. Drafting the letter of lies on the Trump Tower meeting is obvious. Why do you guys quit evading that? I have mentioned this before. Did you forget about him doing that?
