That makes four Pac 12 games, two rivalry games, every team in the state of Washington besides Gonzaga, another regional mid major, and two preseason tournament/challenges
SU known games:
at Stanford (one time)
at Cal (completes two for one)
at Washington (apparently only scheduled thru this season for now)
vs Eastern Washington
vs Washington State (return trip by WSU)
at Portland (game two of H/H/H/H)
vs Omaha (WAC Summit Challenge)
Elgin Baylor Classic (Seattle U host) two or three of:
Denver
Fairfield
Longwood
Me gusta. That’s shaping up to be a solid OOC. I hope the other WAC teams follow Seattle‘s lead.
Hayford did the same thing at EWU. Schedule a tough OOC and toughen up for WAC play. There will be some non-D1s and I wouldn't expect more than one more "check" game but I'm a fan of it as long as it helps in conference play. Great to see a P6 coming to SU too, haven't had that happen since the Independent days when Dollar had a few of them

RE: 2018-19 OOC schedules
GCU's schedule was released just a few minutes ago. It is:
10/30 Montana State Billings (Exhib)
11/06 @South Dakota State for WAC/Summit Challenge
11/10 Delaware State
11/12 Jacksonville University
11/16 Arkansas State
11/22-11/25 Wooden Legacy in LA (Fresno State, Hawaii, Miami, Northwestern, Seton Hall, Utah, and La Salle)
12/01 Boise State
12/09 Nevada @ Talking Stick
12/15 @Texas
12/19 @ Northern Iowa
12/22 Mississippi Valley Stat
2/27 Eastern New Mexico University (DII)
Schedule is a lot better than last years, but still would like to see some improvement in it.

Maybe a another team like BSU at home but GCU will play
1 top Summit team
2 MWC
1 B12
for sure then at the WC 3 schools from this conference.
MWC/ACC/BigEast/Big10/Pac12/A10
The JWC has taken 3 home games away from GCU but being on ESPN during Thanksgiving week being on national TV is a great trade off. I also believe that the Texas game will be on ESPN.

I will reserve judgement until the schedule is complete. Increased season ticket prices for a pretty anemic OOC home slate (in terms of talent) not selling me so far.

Will the Nevada game be included in the season ticket package? If not, that is only
MSU - Billings
Delaware State
Jacksonville University
Arkansas State
Boise State
Mississippi Valley State
Eastern New Mexico University

How many conference games does each school play? Will it go up to 16 with Cal Baptist joining? Wonder who is left without a travel partner now

GCU's schedule shows them playing everyone twice. Looks like GCU, Cal Baptist, and Cal Bako are kind of revolving travel partners and it is going to depend on the week to see who is traveling together.

RE: 2018-19 OOC schedules
I think I have everything updated now. If I'm missing anything, let me know.
As for GCU's schedule- I think it's a pretty strong schedule. The dates don't work out for me to come down to see too many games this year unfortunately. I think all I can do are the Nevada and NMSU games. At CBU on a Saturday works though, I think I might be able to get to Riverside to check out the new digs.

I realize this is probably steering away from OOC in't a conference schedule thread, but GCU/Cal Baptist make a lot of sense as travel partners moving forward. Can we just give Bakersfield to the BW now?

Any one know why they continue to schedule Mississippi Valley State each year? You'd think we were beyond that at this point.

It seems Mid-Major Madness is also not too enamored with GCU's home OOC schedule. Here is the article. https://www.midmajormadness.com/2018/6/2...-that-hard
