We've got (4) teams ranked across (3) different polls. Good going...

I think the most surprising thing about ECU this year is we have done this in spite of 5 or 6 major injuries. 2 are still out. Dwanya Williams-Sutton is arguably our best player and will be back soon.

DWS has been used as a pinch runner but no hitting lately, wrist injury. When he's 100% I'm always looking for a deep ball. Ready to see him playing down the stretch.

For whatever reason Baseball America has been generous to UCF with their rankings in the past and this is no exception....I'll take it though...

I've noticed throughout the years that Baseball America will do everything in it's power not to deviate too far from its preseason Top 25 rankings. They usually don't bump teams up too far or drop down teams too low in just 1 week.

Baseball America has always has a hate boner for WSU, even when we were perpetually top 10 and making visits every other season to the CWS. No idea why that is.

Pollwise, looks like ECU and WSU are neck and neck. Thursday-Saturday should sort that out. Likely one will get a bump and the other should still hang on in the polls. Glad the series is in Greenville.
