RE: Tubby went out with class
Tubby Smith showed more class than the U of M administration, the radio talking heads over at 92.9, Geoff Calkins, Gary Parrish, and all the Tubby haters out there.

That was not funny.

I completely agree.

Seriously. Who writes that crap?

Regrets, he's had a few, too few to mention.

I would think he would take his recruits with him to his next school. After all, he put so much time and energy into recruiting.

Tubby and his attorney are two different people. Tubby went out with class, Tubby's attorney said some not as nice (yet not all completely untruthful) things.

Oh, i thought tubby paid his attorney to speak for him.

Never forget the clip of Tubby being introduced to the team. Players treated him like he was a substitute teacher in high school. It was apparent that anti-Tubby campaign started then. Memphis administration was not honest to Tubby for sure. The question that I have for some of the very excited people around here is that 1. one-and-done is going away so some of the players that you are dreaming about may go to NBA directly. 2. How are these kids going to be admitted to your school? Like Rose, is somebody else going to take their ACT? I see sanctions coming your way soon. In that case, Administration's financial forecasting will be nothing but a disaster. Like I have said before, Tubby will have the last laugh.
I hope that I am wrong but ????????

Tubby screwed the university and the fans.

Glad he's gone.

Jason Smith has no reason to lie for Tubby get over yourself

I haven't listened to one second of Jason Smith's show since he intimated that Tubby had dementia only because he didn't give Jason his undivided attention once. Very classless move, no matter how poorly of a job Tubby was doing.

Tubby wasn't the right coach for Memphis, but that action by that radio hack was disgusting.
