how they were ranked #25 in the AP poll is beyond me, they lost to Georgia (who fired their coach), split with Wash St and Cal - the two worst teams in the Pac12 and had only one good win (Gonzaga) and lost to BYU in the tournament (a 6 seed NIT team) They had one quality win

SMU. The 1st year of AAC play we had 5 ranked teams and for some odd reason SMU was left out

MTSU was robbed and I am disappointed for Nick.

those azzholes killed the Netscape browser...which once upon a time was a badazz alternative to Internet Explorer. (To be fair, some of the developers set about making Mozilla Firefox after that..so I guess it worked out)

Middle Tennessee did get jobbed....RPI of 33...USC also got left out with a RPI of 34.
Louisville got left out with an RPI of 38, so now maybe the RPI is overrated?

But they lost all 3 games against top 50 teams in that non conf portion. Win one or don’t lose one of the last 2 and they are in. They had 4 bad losses during the season and no good wins to offset that.
