The bracket is out. We play KSU in the first round. The winner of that game plays BSU. The winner of that game will probably play Buffalo. These are three schools that NIU has beaten. I realize that all three wins were at home but at least they have the memory of winning against these teams. I realize that it is a pipe dream, but it would be nice to see them go on a run to build on for next season.

KSU is a winnable game.
If we lose at least go down fighting.

German all-MAC second team is a joke!

German was leading scorer, 5th in free-throw% and 6th in made 3’s. First team easily!

German is a kid who has felt slighted his whole basketball career. He will get mad and train even harder. I just hope the big boys who are after him right now don’t convince him to leave!

People getting Geno all fired up on his Twitter. Hope he doesn’t try to hard and keeps emotions in check tonight. He takes things very personal when it comes to basketball.

He's right, should have been first team. Hopefully like you said it will be an even bigger chip on his shoulder.

Is it even legal in the NCAA to recruit a player that is signed and playing at another school?

No, but do not be surprised if a friend of a friend from Iowa State has contacted German's friend. There is never a direct link to the head coach.
