EMU needs to try and speed the game up. Rebound and run. WMU can not match us in athleticism.

Every time it looks like we are going to pull away, western goes on a run. Thomas Wilder is such a fantastic player. Can't wait until he's gone.

Ohhh, sloppy turnover by Jackson, and Wilder sent to the line to cut into the 10 point lead. This feels like the slowest game clock...

Yes, but it is dependent on the Bronc's missing shots.

Our offense is predicated on their offense being ineffective.

We will miss Bond next season dearly. Horrible passer, erratic shooter, but he has a nose for the ball. Just a great player!

Bond dominates the game with his defense.

Can we do it?

CMU is killing BSU. We could tie for third after tonight's game.

Excellent run, triggered by our defense. Wilder's nifty spin move met the unfortunate end of a Minnie block. His third of the game.

14 point lead with 9 minutes left. EMU needs to keep focus. I have seen games like this fall apart once EMU goes into running down the clock mode.

Playing the "big" lineup in the second half, Nobles instead of the small guards. Murph is making an adjustment. WOW!

Minnie playing on... who knows what. Statistically, it won't be his best game, but this kid has guts and so much love for the game.

Probably our most effective lineup, especially when Jackson is attacking the basket and looking for shooters. Both Minnie and Nobles are very good at catch-and-shoot threes.

Defensively, it has to be frustrating for opponents when a 6'9 guy, who's arms go for days, is sticking a hand in your PG's face.

Yeah, I think Ellison is solid defensively, and gives them a third guy who can handle the ball. But I like Nobles in there at the 2. A nimble 6-9 is just tough to match up against when he is defending...

RE: GameDay: @WMU
One thing we've done really well this year that doesn't get talked about much is break a press. Every time teams try to trap us full court, we decimate it and it usually leads to an easy dunk. That's the product of having great athletes on your team, especially when two of them are very good ball handlers.

RE: GameDay: @WMU
Seriously, Hawkins is a smart coach, but we've done nothing but score against their press. Pretty baffling that he continues to do it. Maybe try a half court trap, coach.
