That's a great compliment. Who are you, and what have you done with Frank? :)

Like when Aggie fans first saw Pascal Siakam as a freshman, it is very obvious that their is a talent gap between Lever and the rest of the WAC freshmen. Lever is already a load to handle and he is only a freshman. I can only imagine how dominant he will be as a sophomore. Pascal took a big leap in ability between his freshman and sophomore season. If Lever does the same, GCU could have a special season next season. Even right now it is a toss up between Lever and Manyang as to who is the best big man in the WAC. I am only hopeful Jans can sign a JC big man who can nullify Lever's presumed impact when we meet next season. Currently, Lever's main weakness is his temperament. He can't continue to get animated with the refs when he doesn't like a foul call.

I like Frayer and Lever. I think both have a shot at the next level, but they both need another year. With 4 Star Tim Finke coming in next season, GCU could be very tough in 2018-2019. I am curious to see where Tevian Jones out of Culver City winds up at. Jones has offers from GCU, Arizona, Illinois, San Diego State, USC, Cal, UNLV. The FBI investigation may eliminate Arizona and USC, possibly opening up an opportunity for GCU. Adding Jones could make GCU the favorite next season in the WAC.

I think if Frayer can step it up in the WAC tournament, GCU has a chance to beat NMSU. Otherwise, the only other school in the WAC that should concern NMSU is UVU. UVU leads the WAC in scoring, field goal percentage, three point percentage and assists. With their senior leadership, they could be a tough matchup. But the obvious favorite is NMSU.

GCU was supposed to have a special season this year. If we still have Jans my money will be on NMSU still. I've seen Jo Jo Zamora play. GCU not offering him a scollie was a huge mistake.

I don't think a "mistake" was made, so much as GCU simply didn't have a scholarship to offer. The real kick in the junk came when Kenzo Nudo quit shortly after Zamora signed on with NMSU. Had he walked away sooner, the scholarship would have been JoJo's.

Regardless, I don't think anyone blames the Zamora for decommitting to go somewhere they were able to pay for his education. Good for him, and wish him all the best, with the exception of 2-3 games a year :).

RE: Early this season...
The combination of 6'2 guard JoJo Zamora (Utah transfer), 6'6 wing Wayne Stewart (Top 50 JC player - #43), and 6'7 forward CJ Bobbitt (Denver transfer) are expected to be the replacements in some capacity for 6'4 Zach Lofton and 6'5 Jemerrio Jones. I don't think any one player can replace Jemerrio's rebounding prowess or Lofton's ankle breaking crossover threes; which breaks the backs of opposing defenses. But the combination of the three entering (Zamora, Stewart, and Bobbitt) should give NMSU a more diverse scoring punch next season. All three were starters at their former programs and have established three point range. As for rebounding, it will need to be a group effort by the whole team next season. However, keep in mind, NMSU still returns Eli Chuha who was the leading rebounder in WAC play (9.9 rpg) in 2016-17; as a starter. Currently, NMSU also brings in freshmen 6'9 238-lbs Robert Brown, 6'4 Jabari Rice, and possibly 6'4 Addison Wallace; if he doesn't redshirt. Also, Jans seems to be in search of a JC big man. We will see how that goes.
