For the record: AState was scheduled to host UAB this weekend, but Jonesboro has had 5 inches of rain since Tuesday, and another 3-4 more inches are supposed to fall through Saturday Night. Our baseball field doesn't have a drainage system...so yeah.

Maybe one day we'll do something to improve facilities so this doesn't happen, but until then February series for us are a disaster waiting to happen.

Lost 2-0 to CAA preseason favorite UNCW. Only six combined hits the entire game.

Pitching seems to be solid. Hitting might take a minute.

Looks like UL Laf is overrated again. They just lost to non-ranked Southeastern Louisiana University

Stop being a tool. SE Louisiana is a very good team year in and year out. They are currently losing 5-0 to Wright State currently, and that’s a bigger indictment. Losing to SE Louisiana isn’t worth your statement though.

On astatenation it was reported fundraising has started for a new baseball stadium. Current field would be converted to softball and new stadium built behind it. Keeping our fingers crossed for softball addition and new stadium.

Wait...you mean Mohajir might actually put those pretty drawings to use?

I don't believe it.

No...But I know a guy who claims to have seen it. Supposedly TMO keeps it locked up in a file in his office titled "Supar Secrit Beisbol Draweng" Few who have managed to get into that file have lived to tell the tale.

I talked to a guy at Sunday's Ill St game who mentioned it. He works at the Tom in some way.

Very few people know about the plan. They are not allowed to speak for fear of reprisal. The few that do speak out live in constant fear they may be assigned to the work detail for the Convention Center project permanently.

Lost the game and series 2-1 to UNCW in 10 on a bases-loaded walk.

Played well despite the ending. Had two bad base-running errors in the later innings that cost us a win. Only gave up six runs in three games to the preseason CAA favorites. Just need to get some bats going.
