It appears Rice will be playing without C Dom DiCaprio this weekend, as he injured his hand last weekend. If so, a major loss going against Stanford's two all-american pitchers and 3 southpaw starters...but we hope to have both him and DH Andrew Dunlap (pulled oblique) back in the lineup next weekend.

Sounding more and more like USM won't play this weekend at all. As mentioned in original post our weekend at the SFA tournament is already cancelled as teams were coming from South Dakota St and Bradley along with UT-Arlington, us and the host team.

USM catches somewhat of a break. We are now back to hosting this weekend. The new opponent is UT Martin with a 2:00 pm start on Friday and then a DH on Saturday starting at 11 am

UTM has been pretty abysmal the last several years, haven’t they? Outscored 42-9 in four games against Troy last weekend. Not sure how much of a break it is.

Weather is looking a little better for the weekend in Ruston. Should be able to get games in. Hopefully pitching stays hot against average competition and bats heat up against what appears to be sub par pitching.

Charlotte at Georgia with some scheduling changes: Game Friday at 5:00, Saturday DH starting at 1:00. All games are on the SEC Network ESPN app.

Saw on Twitter where the UAB at Arkansas St series is now completely cancelled due to rain.

USM beats UT-Martin 16-2. Sandlin 14 Ks in 7 innings.

After trailing 6-2 through 6 innings, Marshall rallied for the 8-6 victory in 10 innings over Elon tonight.
