My greenish thoughts 03-cloud9 :

IF WMU loses @BSU and at home to EMU .and. EMU beats NIU (at home) Saturday.

EMU is the #4 seed.

(the only mathematical chance is BG which would need to win their 3 games. Good luck on that, e.g., @Kent, UB, etc.)

If the standings stay the same going into the MAC tourney, Miami would play OU at home two games in a row. Don't know whether that's something to be afraid of or not.

The race for the final bye between WMU/EMU/Miami/BG/Kent looks like a crapshoot at this point. All I know is that I don't want us to play EMU in the tourney because in our two games against them we looked like a middle school team that's never played a zone in their life. It's also pretty funny to think about how with only three games to go last-place NIU could theoretically be tied with 4th-place WMU at the end of the season if they win and lose out respectively.

EMU wiping the floor with NIU. Setting up for a fun game on Tuesday in KZoo.

If we don't get the bye to CLE, it is possible that we'll be #5 and NIU #12.

Wouldn't want to be NIU to have to come back to Ypsi to start the tourney after playing EMU, TOL,and BSU to end the regular season.

Buffalo drops 108 points on Ohio today to win 108-82. UB needs just one win or one Toledo loss over last two games to lock up #1 seed.

Noticed that Miami’s starters shot a combined 8-40 yesterday. Sibande was 0-11. And they won.

Yeah, that happens when you play the worst team in the conference led by the worst coach in the conference.

NIU will give you a run for that honor.

I'm not being a 'Debbie Downer' (or the male equivalent), but wrapping up the regular season title earns the automatic NIT bid.

So UB at least has a NIT bid if they don't win it all.

I could be 'Walter Mitty' and say EMU will win the MAC tourney next week. :)

While the goal is always the NCAA Tournament, I honestly think this UB team could win the entire NIT and that would be pretty cool to play two games at Madison Square Garden, especially when you have so many NYC alumni like Buffalo does.

With Ball State’s loss tonight at CMU, Toledo is the MAC West Champs outright.

Dear MAC members,
Eastern dropped Western tonight 74-58. Would be nice if we can beat Toledo in the last game of the regular season.

That would be fine with me, especially if it means that UT ends its 38 year NCAA Tournament drought.
