App has ECU four times, twice there, once in Charlotte, and once home. Y'all couldn't get them to come to Boone twice? Still a very nice OOC schedule over the next 10 years. Now you just got to win them.

It actually works well for App in that we get the gate from the Charlotte game if I understood correctly.

I think App gets to keep the gate at the BoA game. Which is nice because it will hold more than a home game for App.

I noticed the home game with Akron is no longer listed on the schedule released with the official announcement. Anyone know anything on that?

Akron game is no longer on the schedule. They (Akron) have signed a 2 for 1 deal with UK. They get paid twice and don't have to pay UK as I understand it. For the first game is a big check, the second is significantly smaller.

They considered the record of Ohio teams against App State and figured it wasn't worth the trip.

BTW, this isn't the scheduling news I was alluding to in the other thread. This A&M game has been a done deal since before Christmas. It's only going to get better!
