Bobcats are in Houston to take on Rice tomorrow. Rice is 2-1 on the year, having beaten Samford 8-7 and UCF 5-4. Their lone loss is to Virginia 3-0.

We're bad

Well you are scoring consistently.

We lost our two best returning hitters freak situations in preseason, and they are probably done for the year.

Our pitching was pretty bad last year, but we at times had enough offense behind them to make up for it. If we're going to score 3 runs a game, we're going to have a hard time winning 15 games this year. Have a lot of Freshman and JUCO guys that have to step up.

Who got hurt?

Justin Felix broke his Tibia in a freak collision in practice, out till at least Midseason. Alex Howard has a health issue he is dealing with. There's no timetable for when he comes back, but coaches are preparing as if they'll have to redshirt him.
