Not because the guy didn't deserve it but if he's crazy enough to spank a strangers kids he might be crazy enough to stab/shoot you if you engage him.
Is rather have people call me a cuck dad and live to raise my kid than leave my child fatherless.
Good point. But in the heat of the moment my only thought would be bashing his face in. Protective instincts of a father would be a lot stronger than protecting myself.
its not out of the question that this hombre still has a pretty bad beatdown coming his way. i dont know how they do it in mexico but i do know how they do it in west georgia
Believe me, if that happened in Mexico the dad would have beaten the crap out of that man. It's the same all over the world. You don't touch someone's else's kids. If you don't believe me try it and then remember me warning you not to.
You need to ask your parents how it use to be. If you got in trouble at school, the teacher would spank you, then you could expect 1-2 whoopings by the neighbors before you got to the house. Then your mama would give you one. Then your daddy would light ya up when he got off work. Long day.
a story somewhat related to your point.....
when we moved to the 'sip in '74, I won a battle with one of many a redneck dipshites I had to fight (they simply hated me b/c I was a 'yankee')......when he returned the next day in worse shape, I ended up finding out his dad beat the living shite out of him b/c he got his arse whooped by a 'yankee'.....
getting a paddling by the teacher was a non-issue in my world.....it was a rite of passage....and my parents knew I earned it one way or the other....like me mum always said, "Michael, one day your mouth is going to get you in trouble."
I have a brother that is two years younger than me.....if we didn't toss punches every other day until our early teens, we weren't breathing......one day, he finally beat my arse out in the front yard......we never fought again after that.....my job as the eldest was to teach him how to be tough.....his son enters as a second lieutenant in the Marines this June.....his son calls me "Boss" out of respect.....
I've been beaten and administered a beating.......
boys today are nothing like the ones from my day......it's a shame....I wouldn't trade those 'lessons learned' for anything....
regardless, you simply don't touch someone else's kid..........PERIOD!
it's game the fok on at that point.....
