BB down the stretch
UC, UH AND WSU and have 3 roads and 4 home games.

UH opponents records are 39-40
UC opponents records are 45-33
WSU opponents records are 47-31

UH does not face WSU down the stretch.
WSU faces UC twice
UC must face UH and WSU twice

I still think it is wrapped up.

It’s not wrapped up yet, but if we don’t win the league, we’ve got a lot more to worry about...like 5 seed and a first weekend loss.

RE: BB down the stretch
Based on what we did last year against lesser competition and the way this team is playing, I'm not worried about the Tulane, UConn, and Tulsa games. But the Wichita State games and at SMU/at Houston are all going to be tough tests for us. That said, I think the floor is 5-2, and we absolutely have a solid chance to go 7-0. 6-1 would be my prediction though.

I think the floor is more like 4-3. I’d take 6-1 all day and twice on Sunday. My prediction is 5-2.

RE: BB down the stretch
This is a tough stretch of games and I would put the floor at something under 4-3. Potentially, Tulane could sneak up and take a bite. I think we win against SMU. They are coming off a tough game against Houston and I question what they have in the tank. I hate to say it, but I think Houston gets us down there. They will be primed. I think we get Wichita at home for the same reason Houston wins. I think we lose Wichita on the road and Tulane in our only wtf. This puts us at 4-3 in this stretch.

I like 5-2. Lose @UH, they are pretty good and UC loses in a close one, under 5 points. Also, UC loses @WSU, the league championship and #1 seed will be locked up and it will be there Senior Day. No way do they lose to Tulsa or Tulane even on a bad day.

If I were going to extend the predictions to include the conference tournament, I think we win it and get a 4 seed much like the 91/92 team.

It is such an exciting season for this UC team,
they look like they could sweep the remaining games...
at worst they might lose the two road games at Houston and Wichita...

dare I hope something good (or great) could happen for a team from CINCINNATI?

But as a typical Cincinnati sports team fan...
instead I fear this season goes the same as so many Reds, Bengals and Bearcat seasons...

IF we finish 4-3 down the stretch that will be extremely disappointing. More to the point we will likely fall to a 6-7 seed, not a 5.

I’m worried about the game at Moody tomorrow. Short handed or not. It is too often 8 on 5 in that place.

SMU at full strength I'd be worried, they have lost their equivalent to Evans and Washington, we should win in the end.

Should...and need to if UC is to keep rolling toward a #2 seed. On paper, this appears to be the most winnable of the three major road tests remaining against the top of the league. Each win now puts UC that much closer to clinching an outright regular season championship. This team has earned that so far with a perfect conference record. Let's hope they just keep on keepin' on.

Is Shake playing tomorrow? No Shake and Foster, and SMU would be USFish.

RE: BB down the stretch
I like to thing of the stretch as including three conference tournament game, so we are entering our Last 10 games.

I see 7-3 as possible, though would be disappointing.

8-2 is more likely, but would drop us from #2 seed consideration.

9-1 would be fantastic, and Sweet Sixteen (or better) expectations would be in the air.

10-0? That is definitely possible, and wouldn't that be something.

RE: BB down the stretch
I'm really optimistic about our seeding this year. While our buy games were hot garbage, we will go into the postseason with far more games against quality opponents. If I'm reading correctly, we only had 11 games against RPI top 100 teams going into the conference tournament last year. This season, we already have 12, and will wind up with between 17-19 depending on where UConn finishes (currently 103).

Absolutely right. Last year the lack of to 50 and top 100 games really hurt. This year uc has several more seed improving chances.
