Disappointing yes. Not hard to imagine though. The two games against Wichita could easily both be L’s, especially since the first one is here and we are so overdue for a letdown. And at SMU and at Houston will both be very tough. I could fathom 3-4, but hopefully 6-1 or at worst 5-2 is more likely.

Just saying, to say 5-2 is worst case scenario is to look at it through very rose colored glasses.

To say 3-4 is totally dissing a 22-2, AP #6 team.

sagarin predictor has the odds of losing 4 or more at less that 3.5 %. Odds of losing 2 or less at 80%.

Well first of all, I’m not PREDICTING that, I’m just saying it’s possible. And recognizing that 4 of our hardest games of the season happen to be left on the schedule.

I understand. That’s your worst case scenario. You also stated 5-2 as a floor is wearing rose colored glasses. BCmark put it in perspective. There’s a 3.5% probability of 3-4. That would be a shocking collapse for one of the best teams in the country.

I have considered it but since state income taxes are no longer deductible, I may start spending 5 months a year at our Siesta Key condo and thus be a FL resident and pay no state income taxes.

To get 5 months means being gone Jan through May. Buying seats for December games is hard to justify considering the crappy OOC games.

Man, it must be tough times for you if you're making major lifestyle changes based on something as little as taxes in this economy.

At Houston worries me more than at Wichita State. I think Houston is a better team even though Wichita State will likely be a louder environment.
This team is capable of winning out especially if they continue to play defense as they have recently.
