It's a gamble though and you don't have to look very far to see a prime example of that. Just about everyone and his uncle thought Hud at Louisiana was destined for P5 money and look how that turned out.

For the most part, you are correct. I always had questions about Hud which was referenced here several times. Never saw him as a P5 coach, seems he always choked away his P5 chances with poor decisions.

You have me confused with WinstontheWolf. I only complain about football.

The problem is that as fans we're not entirely comfortable with coaches staying here long term (There's not much history of it working out well) and Anderson is heading into year 5. I think we sort of miss coaching searches and the fun they can provide.

I will be totally in support of your going 0-6 and getting your coaching search started at midseason.

It's a lot of fun, ya'll are missing out.

Well, you guys are pretty much the exact reason we don't have any recent experience starting 0-6. We were on our way to 0-5 until Tyson Summers screwed it all up.

That and poor pursuit angles on a 4th and 15 QB scramble.

By using the phrase “screwed it all up” implies you wanted us to go 0-5. What fan wants his school to go 0-5? You’re just proving my point that you aren’t happy unless something negative is happening or you are complaining about something.

What exactly are you getting at? It's a running joke I have with Southern fans every time they talk about us potentially having a poor year.

I don't care for Anderson...but the idea that I wanted us to lose is insane.

Not even mad at that play anymore.. it just added to the case to get Tyson out of Southern.

It nearly worked in year 1.
