This is an excellent thread. Too bad the pony fans haven't posted on it.

Yeah, right?

I've heard of getting other people to do your cooking, cleaning, yard work, etc. But outsourcing your smack thread? Yowza.

I'm impressed. Quite a funny thread. 04-bow Almost as amusing as our Football team. 03-wink Pony fans have been focused on the maelstrom circulating in the local media this week where our beloved 'Pony Express' backfield was quoted as ripping our current football team. Hence, our AD & Head Coach have fired a back in their own salvo of words. All this media jockeying and war of words have kept us off the message boards on CUSA but more focused on ponyfans.com. Needless to say, we HOPE that our team will come out today and show some real fire and actually execute agains the Hurricane today.

If nothing else happens this week, we're hopeful that we'll get more of a committment to winning out of our Board of Trustees.

Go Ponies!

Purina stayed away from the glue factory for another week. SMU tried to lose versus Tulsa, but squeeked out a much needed victory. Go Ponies!!!

you won't see a lot of smack talk from SMU football fans. One winning season in the last 15 years and 5-28 under Coach Bennett doesn't cause anyone to swell with confidence...but SMU's day will come and CUSA will be glad we were invited into the fold. Now we all need to do a better job beating non-conference opponents.

This smack has nothing to do with fact, but rather with fun. You should have seen the Rice-Tulsa thread. It was so funny...and neither program exactly lights the field on fire with their play. Loosen up and play a little. 03-wink

All due credit to the Mustangs. They showed up ready to play. We didn't deserve to win the game. It was a long, depressing drive back after the game... :frown: :bang: :frown:
