Seems like a guy who is part of a cabal that’s plotting to oust a sitting President would be chomping at the bit to get himself on Muellers’ team

You can be hesitant to do something (especially when you end up in Leavenworth if you’re caught) and still do it.

Why is your instinct to attempt to refute ever-developing hypotheses (based on incomplete information) instead of taking the facts as they come out at face value?
