MyBB Tigers - Statistics - Ranking
I derived a statistical ranking summary as of 1/21/18. It ranks where the Tigers rank by category (eg, scoring offense) by range. For example, we are in the top 25% in D-1 in seven categories.

0% to 25%: 7
26% to 50%: 5
51% to 75%: 13
76% to 100%: 7

In other words, chuck it up, rebound it and get fouled.

Kinda hard to believe those numbers add up to a winning record.

Memphis' record of 13-7 outperfoms their +/- of +0.4.

Most upper tier conference teams who have a near 0.0 +/- hover around .500.

I think we'll still have a winning record, because we've already won the games we weren't supposed to.

That's because when we lose we do it by double digits

...and that is usually a trademark of a team more in the range of a .500 record.

If you watch Memphis they don't have guys who continue to play when they get up.

They stop running start walking the ball up and Martin turns his switch off unless he us making shots. We just aren't going to blow many teams out. That is on Tubby for allowing different intensity levels... You should play the same regardless of score

And losing games by double digits is not a sign of a .500 team. It's all about who they are losing to... Problem is Memphis ain't losing to world beaters

We’ve had to make frantic comebacks in 7 of our 13 wins. Four of them we didn’t lead until the last minute. That’s why our point differential is so low.
