Interesting. Some had considered him a draft pick for 2018. Perhaps that was prior to his MCL injury last season. He had written a Twitter farewell to the FSU faithful as if he might be done with football. Maybe he was just exploring possibilities.

sounds like a great get. we have a lot of solid interior linemen back assuming everyone gets healthy but are inexperienced at tackle. this kid should have a good chance to start there. i like that he isn't a guy from a big school that didn't play much. he started big games for florida st over his career. has like 13 starts and played close to 30. don't want a new young qb with young tackles watching his backside.

I was looking at some of his game film and appreciating the guys leveled. Ruben really blew some guys up.

There is a strong possibility that a true Frosh may start. Baker at G is a possibility as is Bisek at C if we sign him. There are lots of opportunities for PT from all roster linemen.

If Haslem is anything like his dad, he'll be contributing.

We seem to have a lot of talented lineman. This FSU transfer must be a heck of a recruit coming in from Maryland to Florida State. I'm thinking Haslem will start though. Haslem and Sims were the two recruits that made our 2017 Recruiting Class #1 in The MAC.

Always fun bringing in grad transfers that seem to have potential. The past few we've had over the years were mostly all productive and contributed.

Ruble was highly recruited out of high school, reeling in 18 reported offers from the likes of O$U, Florida, South Carolina, Wisconsin, etc. etc...ranked 43rd OT in the nation...6'8" 324 lbs., you just can't beat that size, very intimidating for the opponent.
