I had them or Temple as our 5th bid. Four is likely but five may be slipping out of reach.

Really hoping a fellow AAC team will end up in Wichita so we have someone to root for.

Last time Boise got in they had to do the play in game at Dayton, against Dayton, that was wrong.

I think Temple’s inconsistency will prevent a run in the AAC Tourney or sufficient resume to earn an at-large bid. It would be nice seeing five teams, but I agree four is more likely.

The thing is, when you're a 4 seed, you're going to get stuck with the worst pods.
If that Bracketology is based on numbers as of today the 4 seed is garbage, too.
UC is Top 10 in both national polls.

To play counterpoint, what’s UC’s best win?

RPI is late 20s. 4 is too high though, 3 right now is probably right

UC's RPI is 25 which is giving Bracket "experts" the opportunity to penalize the Bearcats a seed line right now . The RPI will catch up with the rest of those numbers provided UC doesn't lose more than a couple in conference games to quality opponents . A 27-4 (16-2) record with assumed losses @SMU and @WSU puts their forecasted RPI at 8

This year the RPI is being looked at as another metric with the ones I listed.

RE: 1/22 Bracketology
They do list other metrics, but still for groupings etc., it's RPI...
Also- here's all the metrics they are using and the current rating...
Cincinnati (RPI: 25 KPI: 19, SOR: 13, AVG: 19) (BPI: 6, POM: 6, SAG: 9, AVG: 7) ( AVG: 13)
the bad RPI does hurt.

It's not great, I'll admit that. Probably the SMU game really now that UCLA has sufficiently soiled themselves.
But, the committee's job is to evaluate teams that play different schedules and seed them accordingly. Metrics exist to help them with that. If that's the only criteria they are using, we're screwed, but I'd like to think there is more to it than that.

1 thing looking at Lunardi on Twitter- he's got Cincy as the 13 overall seed- or in other words the top 4 seed. So wouldn't take much to elevate to a 3 seed.

These 4 are probably best case scenario right now for the league this year. We need to get SMU and Houston in there a little more confortable, but this is good
WSU has done their part for those two, now the Bearcats need to step up to the plate and solidify their bids.
