Ernest Williams 6'10" 300lbs Center Middletown HS

can't find any video since his freshman year which is pretty irrelevant now. had an early offer from xavier but they may no longer be on him as he's not a big time recruit at this point. had a samford offer in between. don't see others. like the size. imagine that gordon will likely transfer out with 2 new forwards on next year's active roster and no pt in sight. gordon will probably be a real good player at the D2 or D3 level with his developed body, ability to use both hands and good shooting range. just doesn't really translate to D1 at 6-5 with limited mobility.

If it helps, he can tailgate with us in lot 10 before football games!!!

He needs to UN-tailgate. In his highlight vid he’s wearing Number 250 and he hasn’t seen that in awhile. Makes the freshman Nathan Boothe look svelte. Big body, not much explosiveness, decent mid-range touch. Would need a lot of conditioning.

I did a very quick google search on Williams and I know it's sometimes hard to find info on HS players, but I got nothing. Not even a newspaper headline that says "Williams leads Middies to victory."

I found one photo that looks more updated than the freshman video mentioned above.

Looks like he would be a great football prospect

Leaned out. Looks much more athletic.

It would appear that he hasn't been at Middletown in a couple years. Looks like he played 16-17 at Hargrave Military Acadamy in VA, and then this past season at Lincoln Academy in GA. Unknown why he played 3 seasons in 3 different states.

At any rate, isn't UT out of scholarships for '18, unless someone leaves? Do they already know someone is leaving, or is being told they won't have a scholly next year?

If he could add 50 pounds he would be an inch taller and the same weight as Eric Faissen - who was just discussed on another thread.

well the same height. i don't know about the playing weight these days.
