Jank certainly took the pace of play he learned in the MVC and brought it to the AAC. Which is unfortunate for everyone except SMU fans and people who think the shot clock was a bad addition to the game of basketball.

Just a FYI, the trolling was invited here. So go for it. In this thread only. When it spills out elsewhere there will be repercussions.

I’ve had my say. And posted above are the reasons I’ve had my 3 time outs. Well worth it to me. But good to their name, the Shockers have maybe shocked a little sense and humility into them. I’m all for the playful banter that went on in this board prior to their arrival, but the incessant over the top, chest thumping, look at me, we’re the greatest, posting just sucked me in.

I’m past it now. Now that they’ve been knocked down a few pegs. I will even root for them to help better the AAC going forward.

so I started a thread along these lines called something like "List Top 5 Excuses"...WSU fans will give once conference losses started....it was billed as a troll thread, but it actually wasn't.

I started that thread two months ago because I saw two things happening:
1. WSU losing conference games (you are doing that now)
2. WSU fans making stupid excuses as to why (you are doing this also)

I started that thread because I saw a lot of WVU in you WSU fans. You never beat WVU, they beat themselves, etc.

FTR I would still take any of our second five over Zach Brown.

This was said as a response to all the horrendous play the "NCAA" teams had demonstrated that day (namely: SMU and Houston's tankjobs). My original predictions (back around April/May) for the Shox in the AAC went something very close to this: "2 losses and I'll be esctatic, 3 very happy, 4 satisfied, 5 disappointed, and I forgot what I said about 6 but I'm sure it was witty and hilarious.

Not kidding. Read a lot of the WSU posts/claims in order...looks like a bunch of over excited kids. I don't say that for all WSU fans, just a handful that have made the most stupid claims.
