Wichita State is seeing what the Tigers saw
Every game they are playing in the American, they are seeing the best effort from the opposition. Now that they are through an unusually easy early schedule, it will be the Super Bowl for the opposition. A taste of what the Tigers saw under Cal. That’s why Mike DeCourcey called our 63 (?) game conference winning streak one of the hardest records to break in college basketball.

they still have to play @Temple, @Memphis, @Cincy, @SMU, and @UCF...along with home games against UConn and Cincy.

they have at LEAST one more L coming their way in AAC play.

I find it hilarious because they’re in a much tougher league now. No more dominating like when Cal was here and we went through cusa easy.

Yeah that's a raucous crowd that Houston is sporting out there today.

What does that have to do with anything? I told you they weren’t going undefeated. They aren’t world beaters. They’ll lose more than the one they already have.

I watched the SMU Wichita game last night just for kicks. Wichita looked sluggish as a team, till the end. That was some good BB.

NBA moves on both sides.

I know they're putting up a dud today but, athletically and talent wise, Wichita doesn't look anywhere in the same league as those Memphis teams that ran roughshod over C-USA.

The Shockers remind me of that Nevada Wolfpack team with Nick Fazekas that we smashed in 2007.

Dorsey, Dozier and Anderson were 3 very athletic guys who were defensive stoppers...You wont find so many guys like that on too many teams.

No doubt about it. When those guys took the floor, you could literally see the shoulders slump and deer in headlights on the opposing frontline. It looked like grown ass men against kids.

I agree. We would’ve smashed them.

No one ever said they would go undefeated.
