That’s a weak argument. Wichita State who typically runs through their old crappy league has already lost to 2 teams one of which may not be in the tourney. This is the 7th best league this season just like it was last season. That’s where we are in the totem pole of college basketball, behind the P5 and Big East.

Once Memphis (I hope) and UConn return to form, our conference may move up.

Plus the fact that SMU had NBA guys tells you that "the league is overrated" is a bad argument - at least in their case last year. They probably just ran into...a matchup issue?...the flu bug?...late night issues?...bad officiating?

True, taking shortcuts and half-azzing seems to be your gig.

Whatever. Is that your version of "am not, you are"? You are good at resourcing. You may be decent at predictions. But your insight - at least towards others here - is weak.

He asked you to back up what you said with facts and you refused. You do this all the time.

Not sure why you can't read an entire thread and comprehend what's going on - before jumping into someone else's debate.

But checkout post 84. He asked me to back it up "with facts" and I did. His argument now is that those statements were lost in translation. There are no other "facts" to bring to this argument.

The line you're trotting out there is totally not applicable. But carry on as you always do.

I think the reffing was a bit ridiculous at the end too. But it was tooo close.
SMU had way more talent.

No, you just act like a big dumb dumb.

Post 100 sums up your misstatements and my response.

In any event, kinda stupid to bump that since SMU just took a load to the chin last night and is easily OUT of it with little faith they'll be in.

That leaves Houston to carry the torch.

There is the possibility that they just have to get their bearings and they just caught UCONN on a hot night. Like you said earlier, still a lot of ball to be played this season. Don't really know which way they will fall. I hope they don't figure anything out before playing us.
