RE: 1/20 AAC "Super Saturday" Basketball Games
I feel bad for Houston. I think they are a bit of a pretender this year and on top of that they get WSU's best shot today. This one may not be pretty before its all said and done.
I apologize to ECU before hand....don't be sad, just be happy that Lebo is gone and that alone makes this a fine year for you.
Tulane/SMU is intriguing. The AAC needs SMU to win, but its been too fun rooting for Tulane's rise. They are the darling of the AAC right now.
No idea what to make of Memphis/Tulsa...guess I'm rooting for Memphis since they have the better record/conf record at this point.
UCF needs to take care of business vs the dreg of the AAC.
TEmple/Penn: Big 5 game, but nobody cares at this point. Probably best Temple loses as it could be another nail in Fran's coffin. Its clear the Owls won't be the Owls until that old man is gone.

I will say. I know Houston got embarrassed at Wichita so that will be in their minds.
However, WSU has been pretty good at re-focusing after a loss in the past several years under Marshall. They usually don't have losing streaks. I know this isn't the MVC but I think you will see WSU's defense be pretty focused to get the bad taste out of their mouths.
I do think the way to frustrate Rob Gray is to put length on him. It worked in Wichita and I think it will work today.
I don't expect a 30 pt blowout though. Shockers don't always shoot well on the road. But defense should travel.

UCF sometimes has trouble scoring, but I am surprised they are only favored by 12 over struggling USF.

I expect high defensive intensity from WSU tonight. Marshall I am sure preached that the past 2 days after the SMU loss.
UH needs at least 1 win versus UC and WSU to be a contender for a tourney spot and might need two. UH should come out with lots of intensity. I think WSU wins, but UH needs the win. Going to be a test for both squads.
SMU needs to snowball the WSU win into a Tulane win and into a winning streak. Tulane is so Jekyll and Hyde it makes you uneasy, but even without Jarrey I am sure they have SMUs full attention.

I think it’s funny that you skipped the UConn/Nova game. Gonna be that bad huh?

Larrier will "give it a go" but will be wearing a face mask. This is great news! Props to him for toughing it out.

How does a face mask help with the headaches?

An hour before game time and the Shocker fans may out number the UH fans. I am sure it will change by game time.

Hmm.
Tulane shouldn't win today, but then again we shouldn't have a single conference win at this point nor a blowout win against Colorado State....
SMU should come out fired up and win by 15-20.

Yuuge rivalry game? Throw the records out the door and all that...
Wichita only being favored by 3.5 at Houston is the free money.

Why shouldn't we? We have good players.
Cam Reynolds loves shooting at Moody. Close game.

Really? Not a single win in the league? And mighty Colorado State who holds a 142 RPI?
I know we only won 6 games last year, but this is year 2. I think you’re setting the bar a little low. We are better than I expected, but not *that* much better.
By the way, I don’t think Tulane wins at Moody but I’ll take the 12.5 pts.

There's a guy on College Gameday in a pink gorilla costume wearing a Cincinnati jersey with a sign saying "Where is University 6 ranked?" LOL.
Which one of you is that?
