But I ask the question in advance of what is sure to be two and maybe three epic meetings. I can’t wait. I just think WSU has the more complete package. Better depth, more guys capable of lighting it up and a very good and perhaps under-rated defense. Both are really good.

And I really don’t care about the opinions of the loudest here from both schools. I’m way more interested in what other team’s fans think.

Probably a good idea but I just have to get my 2 cents in.

My vote goes to Cincinnati for right now, while they're not great offensively they aren't nearly as bad as some would have you believe and they are elite defensively so its unlikely that they'll ever be out of a game. Great defense travels and lets you hang around in games when your having offensive struggles while you figure out how to score.

While I think most of us can agree that WSU has the superior offense our defense just hasn't been up to snuff this year. If we can get the defense back on track I think the advantage goes back to WSU but until that happens Cincy is in front.

Neither Cincy or WSU want us next year. Mike changes everything.

WSU actually played well at home vs the Ponies but what we saw today is something else entirely. The Shocks are human.

WSU made the move to the AAC for better seeding in the tourney. I’m thinking irony all of the sudden.

We never do well in Cincy, or Pennsyltucky, or wherever you are.

But we DO manage to figure things out come conference tourney time.

Both need to visit Moody and UC/WSU have yet to meet at all.

The one thing we can all agree on? This conference is suddenly a whole lot more fun.

Wichita probably still has a higher ceiling come tournament time due to their seniors and depth.

Cincy is now an overwhelming favorite to win the conference however.

I'd expect the two teams to split their regular season games.

The idea of getting a better seed by being in this conference may not play out for us this year, but it should most years. Not to mention playing in tough games night in and night out is invaluable when it comes to tourney time (if we even make it this year lol).

I don't think it's a coincidence though that our Final Four year was Creighton's last year in the MVC...as much as I dislike Creighton.
