So much for that!

Former Trezevant football star Cordarrian Richardson confirmed to The Commercial Appeal Thursday that he is leaving Central Florida and intends to transfer to Texas A&M.

Richardson played in eight games as a true freshman for UCF, rushing for 161 yards on 47 carries and scoring twice as the Knights finished 13-0 and won the AAC championship before defeating Auburn in the Peach Bowl.

While at Trezevant, he led the Bears to back-to-back Class 2A state championships in 2015 and 2016. Richardson set a BlueCross Bowl record by running for 342 yards in a victory over Marion County in 2015 and was named Mr. Football as a senior after rushing for 1,761 yards and scoring 12 times.

Kind of related is that Coach Frost at Nebraska is recruiting heavily in Florida. They have signed 4 players from Florida and only 2 from Nebraska.

It makes sense because Florida abounds in good high school players and Frost is now connected to the Florida recruiting scene.

You do have to buy into the AGGIE MENTALITY. I don't know anything about this player but....who knows...maybe being an AGGIE is exactly what he needs.

On a Tiger related note, what has our running back (Henderson) decided? Whatever happens with him kinda seems like a big deal.
