Hell Western was basically giving UAB layups for 3/4 of the 2nd half. Lets not forget 4 of the fouls came from give away on UAB and a 5th on a TECHNICAL

So what, 3 or 4 of our conference games now it’s been the refs fault? It’s becoming a trend. The conference definitely wants WKU to represent CUSA in the dance.

I heard the refs left Diddle last night in a brand new Corvette with a cooler full of Chaney's Ice Cream, a growler from White Squirrel, a pizza from Mancino's and a Bosnian Cookbook.

If you can't admit the officiating was at least somewhat one-sided last night you are either blind, dead, dumb, dense, a complete and utter homer (most of you on this thread), or a mix of all of them.

Both teams had 40 points in the paint. Appears to me they were both attacking the rim at a similar rate.

Fouls dont have to be even. Teams dont play the same style and dont have the same type of players.

Like I said before you coaches were whining from the jump. I can't count how many times the refs told the assistants to be quite Or to tell them and then the head coach to stop reffing and just coach. We got the benefit on some calls but your defense is a lot more aggressive than ours.

Yep its happened against WKU plenty of times, watch our game vs. Wisconsin.....No one has got screwed like that in a very long time....Stansbury's game plan was to attack Coakly and Lee and try to get them in foul trouble....HE said Coakly was barely averaging 2 fouls a game, so attaching down low was part of our game plan and it worked...YOu guys acting like these refs are the normal CUSA refs need to get out here...At least 2 out of the 3 are seasoned NCAA tournament veteran refs...

If you think this game was called fairly/evenly, I hope it’s just as fair/even on the return trip to Birmingham. Maybe a few “incidental” elbows will come flying from UAB on their drives to the basket this time.

And to the La Tech fan pointing at the foul difference in that game, look at your 3pt shot attempts. That’s the difference. You take a lot of shots from outside you’re not going to get fouled very often.

Not excuses. Facts. And to equate those games is disingenuous.

La Techs large number of 3s was just a part of the reason for the difference in FTs.

There were 15 fouls on UAB to 26 on La Tech. The reason for the disparity in number of FTs is a result of how many of those fouls were shooting fouls vs hand check fouls.
