Wow, that would be amazing.

Play-In games aren't a bad thing. It is a better chance of adding an "NCAA tournament victory" than playing a higher seeded team (not that it has mattered for MTSU the last two years anyways). Plus, it gets your team out of the jitters before playing a "better" team in the 2nd round.

I saw a bracket projection a few days ago that showed WKU, MTSU, NKU, UK, UofL, Murray State all in the same region in Nashville. That would be insanely fun.

ODU, UAB, WKU, MTSU and maybe Marshall are the best this year.

I would call 2 in NCAA and one more in NIT a successful year for CUSA. All are quality teams that could win an upset or two.

Who has the deepest team ? UAB ?

CUSA is good enough to be a 2 team league. Whether it will happen or not is another story all together. I’ll believ it when I see it unless Middle and WKU steamroll through and play in the finals.

A little less deep than what we had hoped, I think. Just not enough consistency, esp. from the offensive side of things.

Not ODU. Although, I have heard that some of our science and engineering faculty are working to clone Ahmad Caver, in hopes that his legs don't fall off before or during the conference tourney.

Unfortunately, they're using leftover maglev parts, so don't count on it running any time soon.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee is a 1 seed and ODU a 6 in this NIT bracket thing.

Two NCAA teams is the goal but having multiple NIT teams would also be a nice step up for the conference.
