RE: IPF update from Dr. Rudd
Dr. Rudd is by far the best communicator that we've ever had sitting in the Presidency role. He is very responsive and detailed. As an alum and fan, I'm thankful.

RE: IPF update from Dr. Rudd
So from the sound of it, the actual IPF is not in Phase 1, and will not be part of the completion in spring of 2019. Hmm.

True. Everyone should follow Dr. Rudd on twitter. If you did, I think you would feel very good about who is running things. He is an optimist and a can-do guy. Can't tell you how many times a student tweets him, and he quickly responds. And then either solves the problem, or tells the student to call his office. He is an impressive guy.

I have had reason to interact with him on a non-sports basis, and the same qualities ring true there also.

I second that. He really promotes the university, the city, and the region. His tweets are the first ones I look for everyday.

Seemingly transparent.

He tries and does a pretty decent job of communication.

Times we live in I guess.

RE: IPF update from Dr. Rudd
As reported by the CA on Nov 1, 2017
“Rudd said previously that construction would be completed in 18 to 24 months once it begins.”

I don’t understand what is included in each of the 4 phases. However, it looks like Phase I will take about 15mo.

RE: IPF update from Dr. Rudd
So, how does Dr. Rudd propose that the Football Tigers practice indoors in Phase 1 Coaches’ offices? (which completion of this phase is still 19 months away)

It’s a legitimate question.

Spin and Delay.

RE: IPF update from Dr. Rudd
So another 2, 3 seasons before the Indoor part is built? That's just a guess based on the Phase 1 completion. Maybe longer.

That's a fact. But they have got to find some money to complete this faster. Two years is too long for project like this. Either find another booster to help out or cut a deal with the construction company.

Ha Ha, just kidding on that last part.

Turner Construction is ranked #3 in the ENR top 400 for 2017. They don't cut deals.

Indoor backhoe parking facility. Just put a tarp over it and cut a ribbon.
