Robison is probably going to start. Not Johnson.

Johnson made one mistake. A girl at a bar was punching and kicking him and he swung back Terrible but one mistake his whole life

Johnson was a great and smart citizen before and after that incident He had to go from fsu to juco and paid other ways for his mistake

Judging from your dbag persona on here , I doubt you've lived a perfect life. Better be careful throwing stones

Lol. Ok then- however you spin it.

One of your QBs smashed a girls face in. There are very few degenerates in that category- men who have punched a woman in the face.

If you want to be the guy defending someone like that, have at it. But it’s a terrible look for FAU fans.

What he did was wrong but let’s not act like he ran into the bar looking to hit a woman. The truth is she was kicking and punching him well before he threw the first and only punch.

Well, it doesn't usually take more than 1 punch for a 6 foot 200 pound physical specimen to take out a 100 pound girl.

Have you ever committed any crime?

I'm not spinning or defending it. I just don't think a kid should have his life be ended over one solitary mistake.

I doubt you're perfect.

Also you are such a loser routinely trolling a non mainstream message board with nothing to do with your college. Pathetic and a terrible look for ucf fans

Best of luck to Jason and welcome to the brotherhood in May. Probably a good idea to skip spring football and start studying for the Fundamentals of Engineering test anyway.

247 has him listed at 177lbs at the time of recruitment and she weighed no less than 160lbs. He was wrong but let’s not spin the story. She may just be closer to weighing 100kgs than 100lbs.

I don't take exception to Ragu suggesting that one mistake shouldn't determine the rest of his life, but are you really arguing about their comparitive weight? Are you really suggesting the fact they were within 20lbs of one another makes it not as bad as if he was literally twice her size?

No dude, I’m just trying to cut down on the BS. This was a direct response to the completely false statement that KnightTime made. Regardless of what side of the arguement I’m on I don’t like people who try to put their spin on things. Johnson was wrong 100%, but if we let this exaggerating go on it only get worse. Next thing you know we are going to be talking about how he supplexed her out of a moving plane.

did you not watch last chance u?
not to side with c-usa people but most of the nation sides with johnson....she attacked him first ...you can argue he defended himself in the wrong way

but from the show (which has millions of viewers) it detailed the situation and almost everyone in the nation supported him..and from the show he was a good person an leader...when other players were going through stuff he was the one who always came to their aid, same with the guy from tech

Maybe I'm giving KightTime too much credit, but I seriously doubt he was attempting to spin this, as you already confirmed, their relative size is irrelevant, so what is there to be gained by slightly exaggerating his size and very likely simply guessing on hers?

Whether intentional or not, it certainly looked like you were attempting to make his actions seem not as bad, like arguing over whether a guy stole six cars or eight cars, does it really matter from a morality standpoint?

Seriously?

If you feel like you have some unspoken agreement that in general visiting AAC fans are always right, or that you should always "side" with them whenever one of them is arguing with a CUSA fan, you need to just stay away.

God forbid you find yourself siding with one of us terrible "c-usa people"...

I find it hard to let things slide when they’re just so obviously wrong. I could’ve let it slide but it irritates me. It’s kind of a pet peeve. Long story short, I would’ve corrected him regardless of the situation. This is about a football player after all. Hearing your QB magically put on 10lbs of muscle is kind of a red flag. Now if he said James Blackman was 200lbs I would’ve flipped my kitchen table.

Why did something bad have to happen? Chris Robison has been with they team since August. I think it’s been pretty clear it’s between him and Johnson next year. I just don’t think Driskel can keep up with an Elite 11 QB.

Those guys must not be so great if they transferred from P5 schools to FAU. I have serious doubts about their eliteness.

They both had off field mistakes so they were dismissed. They weren't kicked out for lack of talent

Chris Robison got arrested for public intoxication, he was kicked off the team for violating team rules. Two month later Baker Mayfield did the same thing, it got swept under the rug. If he had waited a year he would have been a starter and would have gotten unlimited free passes.

"In April, Robison was arrested for public intoxication the night after Oklahoma's spring game. In that game, Robison completed three of his five passes for 49 yards.

At the time, Oklahoma said it would deal with the matter "internally." It is unknown whether this dismissal is the result of that arrest or a separate team rules violation."

Wow. I thought I had seen insanity but some of the FAU fan comments here take the cake.

I am “spinning” what happened? THERE IS A VIDEO OF HIM DOING IT.

There is a video which shows a drunk woman pathetically tapping him with “punches” that is met by a haymaker to the skull that Johnson leans into. Cops who saw that video have said that it EASILY could have killed her, and they’ve seen people die in fights from way less.

Also, If your argument is that “she started it” then you need help since you may be a danger to women as well. There is absolutely NO justification for landing a haymaker to the skull on a woman in response to her throwing pathetic drunk “punches” that you can’t even feel . You walk away, get Security, or otherwise. You do not level a woman’s face.

Very sad to see FAU fans sink to this level. This is not just another “made a mistake” case- this is something much more violent and unforgivable.
