Webcam at GaSo.

I assume this is a cesspool that forms the headwaters for Eagle Creek.
(Sorry, this was just too easy to pass up and I tried not to type this out but just could not let it go. )
Actually, I thought the GaSo campus would get a bit of snow but seems to be only rain.

Only flurries this time. We got 2-3 inches of snow about two weeks ago

No snow, rain or sleet here. Just cold. This is my 36th winter in Texas. I have never been this cold, for this long, in all of those years.

I'm more than willing to have a handful of really cold days and snow/ice in NC because with that also comes close access to the mountains and stunningly beautiful autumns and springs. Besides, NC has beaches, too.

Spent the day snowboarding at Sugar yesterday and I found areas to ride that I've never seen before. It was ******* awesome.

I have in-laws near Tampa and visit over Christmas break and over summer at some point. Besides being too flat, I do like a bit more variety in my seasons, and we do have a chance to participate in outdoor seasonal activities year round with lots of variety. Not many states can say that, especially in the Sun Belt footprint.

We are the safest place to be out of all the SunBelt schools in the event of a super tsunami

We only got an inch. It was off the roads a couple hours after it stopped snowing. It's taken forever for the rest of it to melt off because it was so dang cold.

You think one would affect San Marcos, Arlington, Little Rock, Monroe or Jonesboro?
Maybe you're thinking the Eastern schools?

As far as tsunamis are concerned, vertical distance from the disaster will keep you safer than being farther inland. If tsunamis are all we have to worry about, they’ll be humping goats in Boone until the heat death of the universe.

Georgia Southern, Coastal, and South Alabama would be eff'd up the A in the event of a super tsunami. I think the other schools would survive though.

Boone elevation is 3,333 feet. San Marcos is 617 feet. You guys wouldn't stand a chance in the event of a super tsunami. Also, as of 2007 Texas has the most goats in the United States at 1,090,000. Georgia was 4th at 100,000. NC came in at 82,000.

That’s all well and good, but I think more people would be more concerned about the verb in my statement than the noun.

This is the rare moment where a GS fan's BS goat crap about App is actually pretty funny. Well done. Now go go back to crying about your 2-10 season.

We have more ice on this cold spell. Hopefully that cold air doesn't comeback. Some of the roads, bridges, parts on interstate were closed. We had the campus closed for Weds and half of Thursday. In December we got snow in Mobile.
