Parks!
It appears we have us a real big man now.

Martin as a senior is scary good. Add Tyler Harris and we will be tough.

He keeps improving...

Still has to put in work in the offseason.

Yep add Tyler and TJ and make a run next year with experience. Bring in Jeffries and the East guys the next year and make another run with the young studs....GTG

How did you like that jump hook? Dude is getting it done. Next year could be fun.

He gets a lot done without a lot of leaping ability.

Figured out tonight who Parks reminds me of. Former Whitehaven Tiger and Memphis State great Marvin Alexander.

Not a bad comparison. Marvin was very good. It’s great that Parks has another year.

I was thinking Chris Massey. Big body. Space eater. With a good offensive toolbox.

RE: Parks!
Parks took a lot of heat about his play early this season, and probably rightfully so, but he has really stepped up. Great to see it. GTG!!!!

RE: Parks!
I was one of those. I remember saying, "No wonder this guy didn't even stand out at JUCO."

I like the way he positions himself. He's in the right place for the pass or rebound A LOT. He still can't jump much, but he gets the ball between the defense's hands for the layup.

I love his 12-15 foot shot. He's really gaining confidence there.

Early on, it was hard to imagine Parks playing more than about 20 minutes because of all his fouls. He's cut way back on that.

We'd really be struggling without his presence on the inside.

RE: Parks!
Parks shooting 65%
13.2 ppg
73% from the line
5.3 rebounds (2.7 defensive...Has to improve)

In conference play

Brewton 10ppg and Davenport 10ppg in conference...But our offense has been extremely efficient in conference even including the stinkers against UCF and Cinci

Earlier in the season, I called Parks one of the worst starting big men I have ever seen. Boy, I am happy he is proving me wrong. Somebody pass me some hot sauce to go with this crow.
