Since all his abilities weren't completely mentioned before in this thread.....Tulsa's 4 star transfer QB is likely the next heisman front runner (after whoever ECU runs out, of course), can throw with both hands, can protect his own blind side, and completed 3 goal line passes to himself in high school for touchdowns. And in his spare time he trains movie bears, walks on water, and does hand paintings in the color clear. He also once beat Chuck Norris in an arm wrestling match.

I'm sure Memphis ' qb is nice, but let's not act like be can keep pace with our guy.

^ exactly...there's so many I can't even keep up with em all...one of these kids will pan out.

6 quarterbacks. Norvell has said that in his offense he will never be without a good quarterback. He is certainly making the effort to see that promise through again this year.

We have a great conference, Memphis is a big part of why the AAC is is moving up !

After the "Houston dominated college basketball in the 60's-90's" discussion and this one...I think Houston needs to re-evaluate what the word "dominate" means.

Didn't realize the juco WR (Anotnio Gibson) we got was a 4 star on ESPN and the #13 juco player in America. He could help negate the loss of Miller and Mayhue some.

Coxie, Pollard, Gibson, Pop, Kedarian Jones, Magnifico, Dykes, maybe Sam Craft back on a 6th yr med RS, Nick Robinson will be a RS Fr, Kenny Gainwell if he doesn't RS --- whoever the QB is will have some weapons to chunk it to when not handing off to Henderson and Patrick Taylor.

That's a fair point. No debating that. However, it only took us 7 to 8 decades to figure out that your athletic program has to hitch the wagon to football first and foremost. If we are going to be good at one and suck at another, then I will pick football. Do I wish we could do both at the same time? Sure. Maybe Cincy can help pony up the dough for Tubby's buyout?

Seems we're getting some quality from the transfer and juco ranks. Plug some holes and we might be a better team next season than we were this last season. Next years UCF?

Whoa Nelly, could be next year's Tulsa too. Personally don't think that'll happen, but all the pre- preseason hype is eerily reminiscent. That said, trust in Norvell. He knows what he needs and what he has on hand to achieve stated goals.
