Good kid, wish him the best, and expect good things from him in the city after his playing days.

Interesting article.

He's an alum. He played 3 years and banged hard.
Graduated from the school and represents the city thoughtfully.

It's your opinion.

My opinion? Good kid, cares about the community, good a master's on someone else's dime and now gets a check playing hoops.

https://theundefeated.com/features/tarik...rs-degree/

Sounds pretty awesome to me. Sure I wish he stayed, but I'm a fan, not him.
He felt he needed a change of pace, so he got one, it's HIS life.

I wish more kids were as thoughtful as him, and am proud he was (is) a Tiger.

He trashed the program---be proud of him if you want. All former TIGERS would not call him a TIGER.

Did you even read the article? If you did, I don't know how you can spout off about something so relatively insignificant as where he announces as being from. He sounds like a really good dude - I had no idea that he had such close ties to the NCRM and had met all of those people.

I agree. Tarik has represented his city well and continues to invest his time and money to help improve it. On a nonrelated note, other people’s acts failed to be funny many years ago yet they continue to roll it out. Rather sad actually.

On a more positive note, two Tigers who stayed as long as they should have (and are supporters of the program)are having great seasons:

Tyreke 20 pts/5reb/5ast/1steal

Will. 14pts/5reb/4ast/1steal

Both are putting up those numbers with only 30 minutes per game playing time. Reke will hit the jackpot on his new contract while Will has a couple of years left on his.

He made a business decision that paid off handsomely. If he had remained, I doubt he would be in the position he currently is. Anyone that doesn't see that and doesn't respect that has some serious personal, childish issues.

Exactly. Seems dome folks think if they don't agree with another's opinion they should not have the right to express it. Works well in North Korea.
