He started for Louisville at one of three receiver positions. He'll be a boone for a new QB looking to get situated.

Congrats Troy. State will call and raise you with the "missing piece" that signed two days ago. Why is he called the "missing piece"? Because that is what Coach Anderson calls him. Out of Louisiana and had offers from about every top school in the nation out of high school. Signed with us out of NE Mississippi JC, a wide receiver and 'A back. Don't get mad with me, it was the head football coach that called him the "missing piece"

I saw that 'FloridaRedWolf' just posted in this thread, and instantly knew you were going to talk about the guy you just signed. 07-coffee3

Well you have to be easy with me as it was 'the man' that called him the "missing piece". I'm just passing the message.

To be the man, you have to beat the man. As per the rules, his initials are now N.B.

You guys look stacked. Glad we don't get to play you regular season. If we meet in championship game, we'll have some time to get our new guys in rhythm.

Too bad Anderson calls the plays and will screw you in OOC and atleast 1 SBC game even if you have Tom Brady as QB

Merritt is extremely talented. Nice job landing him. Hopefully his jock itch doesn’t return and cause him problems again.

With as many good players coming back next season, plus these two players... I expect StAte to beat Tulsa and UNLV next season. Anything less and I will be disappointed.

Except Anderson can’t win a OOC game to save his life.... I’m guessing he splits those two at best

It will be nice to have two very winnable games OOC with one being a home game. Utah State and UCF were nice OOC wins for Blake but Toledo and the P5 teams have been obstacles for sure.

Small frame but quick enough and plays through contact to make an impact in the League

Here's some of his highlights. I'm happier about this transfer now than I originally was...

So how many years of eligibility will both these all-americans, missing pieces and such have left?

Traveon Samuel will only have one season of eligibility at Troy... 2018 will be his final season.
