yes went from up by 14 to down by 10. missing every time down while the cajuns are getting points on every possession. mavs are done for.
I really expected y'all to hang an L on UL tonight. . .
I didn’t. This team has no depth, no interior game and our two best players don’t want to play with each other.
BoP hit it on the head. That second half was pathetic as the Cajuns played as one and we played as 3. There’s a distinct chance we don’t even make the conference tournament.
You planning on UTA Basketball getting a postseason ban or something? SBC Tournament started taking all 12 teams last year...

at times the mavs seemed to be able to get a turnover or score at will. It is just a mystery why they turn it on and off. Neal repeatedly drove to under the basket and then dished off to someone on the perimeter who missed the shot. just getting to be a wasted season. the fans have lost interest too.
going to be interesting next season with all the starters and half the team graduating. well, baseball season up next.

The team is super athletic, and came up with a bunch of steals, but takes some shots with a high degree of difficulty. I think when you're making those you run folks out of the gym, but when you're not it can get ugly the other way. I have to say I'll be glad to see the last of Hervey, as he's just a mismatch for anyone you put on him.

KasparBall is gonna get pushed to the limit on Saturday night. I was excited that UL passed a truly tough road test tonight. The game on Sat should be a good one. TxSt is gonna have to bring it's A++ game on offense on Sat if the Cajuns play D like they have shown to be capable of (see second half of tonight's game, and first halves vs ULM and App).

Clearly y'all are the class of the conference, and I readily concede more talented than us. I'm just hoping that the style of play Kaspar employs can at least keep it close.
I watched y'alls second half Vs. Mav, it was impressive. I fully expect a loss on Saturday, just hope we can be competitive both halves.

Have to say our guys play hard and are willing to share the ball. Most games is seems as if better than 60%-70% of our baskets come from an assist and everyone is willing to give it up. We actually have a number of turnovers trying to pass up a very good shot so we can be too unselfish at times.

Well, feel free to be too unselfish on Saturday. As we field a relatively young and inexperienced group of ballers, any and all gifts to The Church of Kaspar will be appreciated.

Bobcats trail by 12 at the half . . . closed out the half with a 5 minute stretch without a FG.

This Cajuns team is for real. Just suffocating Defense and solid offense. Tough to beat. Louisiana is now 17-3 and 7-0 in conference. 17-3 is our best start in over 40 years.

Coastal finally wins in a tight game. Ugly win, but I’ll take the way our season has been going lately.

WE SCORED MORE POINTS THAN THE OTHER TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AState beats Little Rock 70-62. Shot 60 percent from three and 40 percent from the free throw line...go figure.

It is somewhat comforting to know no matter how bad we are, we are still better than UALR.

Somehow we Lost to UTA by a gazillion points and UALR beat UTA by 12. I'm not supposed to understand that I think. 2nd straight year the Rivalry Trophy stays in Jonesboro. Grantham Gillard of AState gets the MVP hardware with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
As a reward, I heard the coaches are taking the whole team to the beach...Myrtle Beach that is, next Thursday Night.

Just for the record, I had planned to go to the Cajuns and TS game as well as the UTA game but I got sick and couldn't make either. I watched the UTA game on ESPN3 and it was good and also free. I also to watched the Texas State and paid for it, only 5.95. Having said that the production was awful. Every time free throws were being shot by the Cajuns, all you could see is make noise or something flashing across the screen. After Texas State would score the screen would be covered with a picture of the player who scored for a several seconds and you could not tell what was going on in the game. Sometimes the Cajuns would score on the other end, but you could not see it. The shots under the bucket were amazingly bad and often the camera was pointed away from whoever scored.
Since I live in DFW, I watch a lot of games on ESPN3 as well as local broadcasts. Some of them were bad, but this one is absolutely the worst I have ever tried to watch.
