Texas State preview
They are 11-7 overall and 4-1 in conference. I would say they have to be one of the surprises so far. They really do not have any impressive wins, though. Rice was probably the best non-conference W. They just completed a sweep of the Alabama schools at home.

They likely will start 6-8, 6-7, 6-5 across the front line and have a couple more 6-8 guys on the roster. But TSU never does have a big lineup. They have two players averaging double figures, led by 6-5 Nijal Pearson. Immanuel King is their man inside, shooting 61.3% with 6.1 rpg. They shoot 46% overall, but only 32% from the arc. They hit the boards hard at +5. As always, their defense is very solid.

Sagarin picks TSU by one.
RealtimeRPI picks us by 5.

For some reason I feel this one is winnable. I certainly didn't believe UTA was, especially after seeing the size and talent they put on the court. Really not sure how we pulled it out last night. Seemed like Hervey could score at will, although I guess he actually didn't shoot that well based on the numbers you posted. He just doesn't appear to have any weaknesses, especially playing against Belt level competition. The last 4 games give me hope we can compete against anyone in the league. We may well lose more than we win, but I don't see us being an easy out for anyone except maybe at ULL. We'll win our share, if we can get a few bounces and hit free throws.

If Andre hones his driving skills, I think he will be a tough out for anyone in the league.

TSU doesn't beat themselves much, and that is what makes them tough.

RE: Texas State preview
For the record, we are TXST, not TSU.
