UCF raised over $8.5M for the Football Excellence Fund this year so there was a lot of money in the warchest. This may be part of it.

If the UCF defense plays bad ass and dominates then he is worth his weight in gold (and recruiting).

Ucf is paying more for assistants then c-USA, mac, and sunbelt teams pay their head caoch by 2x. Ouch!

I looked this up.

Toledo won the MAC; their coach's base salary is just $450K. That's with the new extension.

Shockingly, the buyout at Toledo is only $450K. That's unreal. Not even attempting to keep him, or get paid when someone comes to take him.

Good idea...budget is already $65 million. If we had big 10 tv money we would be over $100 million.
