Think you are right unless he is willing to work for peanuts.

NCAA allows each school to now add an additional assistant coach. It isn't like EMU is flush with money and could afford a fmr. SEC coach.

English made 300k last year

SMH, Ron English was a fraud as far as I'm concerned. He led the defense his last season at EMU and I think it was the worst defense in our history. How can someone who has proven he can't coach earn $300k?

I know one thing, I would never let my son play for him. I'm all for giving people 2nd chances but not in such a position.

I didn't know the number but players in the SEC make more than 80K a year.

(or that's their signing bonus, I forget. )

The 'floor' for position coaches in B1G, SEC, etc. I believe is around 250K.
