UTA trails Little Rock by 7 at the half.

Geeez, Mavs . . . I cannot figure you guys out this year. . . .

It's like someone picked you to win the Conference and cursed you in the process.

Tookie did what Tookie does. And Ike looked healthy. And Montae has had too many consistent games for it to be a fluke. Georgia Southern is going to be dangerous most nights.

Final in Jonesboro: Bobcats 73 - Red Wolves 67. Bobcats get their 2nd conference road win, and move to 4-1 in conference.

Mavs down 12 to LR with :30 to play . . . wOw.

Ike looked really solid, and I’d take the Tookie kid at my point any day, he was great. Coastal is in the downward death spiral of the Ellis sunset having gone unnoticed for too long. Some day...

BTW, is your assistant Dixon, related to Jamie Dixon? Looks like him.

Wow, I don’t get UTA either. Based on early season, I’d have pegged them top dog too. For some reason, we’ve had our success against them, but wow.

Louisiana is the one I don’t want to see again the most though. We don’t match up well at all. And Georgia Southern just out-everything’d us tonight worse than anyone else thus far. They both look like the ones to beat now.

I forgot how annoying Danny Kasper led basketball teams are. They just take the game completely out of its rhythm. Don't take quick shots, double team every screen. Hard to play against.

That's MY Boy . . .. stifling D that disrupts your O with just enough points for a W.

It sure ain't pretty, and most nights has me chewing my fingernails . . . just glad we got out of Jonesboro with a win. 04-cheers

Our D is ranked #18 in the country right now.
Our O, not so much.

For the first time this season, road teams had some success.

After starting 5-19, road teams were 3-1 last night.

And, the only home team that won? Little Rock, who beat UTA.

Go figure.

This team is not a team. All there is to say. Hervey scored over 20 and Hamilton gets a double double underneath, but UTA keeps forcing threes when they aren’t falling.

We have now lost to the preseason 8, 11 & 12 on the road. This conference is Louisiana’s to lose.

App just didn't make shots when needed. Forrest and Kinney were non-existent most of the game. #15 for GaState is a baller and might be the best player in the league. #30 went off and I don't think we were expecting that.

Just one of those bad days that showed how little depth there is on this team.

Danny Kaspar is 148-18 when his team scores 70+ points.

Yeah, and we pretty much have to score 75 to have a chance to win. Bad combination

I think a lot of that has to do with when the Cajuns get JaKeenan Gant back. It's been ten days and the original report was at least three weeks.

They could use him during the Texas trip. And they HAVE to have him when the Cajuns go to Georgia.

But I get what you're saying. The Cajuns pretty good. Most unselfish team I've seen in my 26 years covering them.

I don’t doubt the Cajuns’ talent, but they’ve been sent home from Hanner with a loss 2 of the 3 times they’ve come here and this will be the best Georgia Southern team they’ve faced.

And I’ve personally seen Statesboro High School beat Gant 2-3 times. How hard can it be? 04-cheers

Ugly one in Boone thus far. App up 25-21 on GS. Combined 2-20 from long distance. Already eight guys with two fouls.
