Full disclaimer here: I did NOT write this. Someone else did. It is too well written and thought out to not post.

I’m all for UCF and the AAC- but that is a bit much.

Hopefully this will result in access for the aac to the playoff and more money in the tv deal. All we want is fairness and a shot. Most of the country agrees with that.

I am afraid that the NCAA and the CFP will offer a "deal" and that the AAC will take it, thus hurting ourselves in the long term.

What deal ? Winner of the AAC does NOT get into the playoff but would settle for an automatic berth in the Citrus Bowl or Peach Bowl.

that's a bit much. there is no 3d chess strategy. ucf is undefeated and beat the team that beat both of the finalists, the administration sees that and rightly says why the hell not since the committee is basically saying "you know that 130 teams thing? that was bull**** the playoffs is about playing a power 5 schedule."

they can find a major selector poll that will have them #1 and if alabama wins there will be multiple major selector polls that will have UCF ranked #1. the ncaa history book standard for a claimed national title will be met.

I had it so big because it was such a HUGE National Title.

Seriously, my bad. I had blocker on and didn't even realize it was that big. I removed it and will upload a smaller one.

There isn't going to be any lawsuits out of this, and the playoff won't change any time soon. This was just a perfect storm and had to happen. May be 20 years when another team gets 1/2 as good an argument as UCF has this time.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Congratulations on your national championship!

That would be the same deal as the rest of the P5. Major bowl with big payout but no guarantee for a playoff position.

Yes, but in an expanded eight team playoff it would hurt us. I want an automatic spot in an expanded CFP for the AAC winner.
