I have been seeing USF fans, Cinci fans, Temple fans, etc. sticking up for UCF left and right on social media against folks who are trying to tamp down UCFs challenge to system and it’s awesome!!!

That's how the SEC rose to prominence. Every fan was as much a fan of the conference as their own team.

It's basically those who hate the current system vs those who like the current system.

Only reason I hate UCF is because I am jealous of what they have accomplished in such a short amount of time....

Totally agree. This was the norm in the big east days. She, there were rivalries but people weren't outright hostile to each other. We'll get there again.

It's kind of hard to knock UCF's claim to a title or at least to the notion that they should have been in the playoff without knocking your own school as well.

As for the way we are going about it, this is a win-win for the other AAC schools. Either we move the needle to all of our advantage, or we fall on our face and potentially lose some sort of edge in perception or recruiting.

I'm a UCF fan and I don't really see this helping UCF's recruiting if no change comes out of it.

This is a solid conference building a solid rep in both football and hoops.

How about cutting out the “leaving for the (whatever other) conference”
BS and just focusing on getting even better results as the AAC?
