Also, it's good to see us dominate a bad team on the road, but I'm not going to gloat. This is what they should be doing.

Ehsan indicated in the postgame interview that Lee is hurt and didn't really practice during the week. Just asking him to bring energy...

Didn't another poster say he's had an injury all season? There has to be something to explain his relative disappearance.

Nice to see Gueye get some rebounds. 7 points, 5 rebounds in 15 minutes. But 3 turnovers.

We need him & Lavender playing well because you know we will need them both with injuries & foul trouble as the season goes on.

With MTSU almost losing and us dominating and Tech losing, Id like to think our chance of winning the conference has increased. Or, worst case, a top 4 seed.

Sullivan has to learn to play without fouling. Because I really think he can help us this year and next.

Has to be something like that. He was known to disappear pretty often last year, but not almost every game like this year.

I was particularly impressed with the stat sheet of this game in the minutes played column. Ehsan substituted exceptionally well and made good use of bench strength. Gueye, Sullivan, Lavender, and Smallwood came in the game for longer stretches and performed quite well on both ends of the court, combining for 10-17 from the field shooting, 14 rebounds, and 5 assists.
We are a much better team when we can depend on utilizing a deeper bench, rather than relying on 6 players to play the entire game. This is a perfect example of what Coach Ehsan can do to steadily improve our bench strength for the long haul throughout conference play.

When they say we have a deep team, enough depth to play most teams in CUSA and win handily. Not enough depth that you can play MTSU, AU, WKU, Marshall, LT or the teams in the Cayman Islands with more than 7 of our best players. When we play teams with good guards, don’t have a choice but to play Norton and Bryant 28-35 minutes because we can’t bring the ball up the dang court. We take some stupid shots and have some silly turnovers in those types of games, Ehsan knows who he can trust to keep their composure in those games.
