East Carolina somehow going to start winning and Tulsa/UCF begin their campaign for the 4th/5th AAC bid.

I remember the pre-Tubby days when a win vs UCF was as much as sure thing as death and taxes.

Tulsa better plan on winning the AAC tournament if they're hoping to get the 4th or 5th bid. No way they are getting an at-large unless they go something like 17-1 in the conference.

Tulsa better plan on winning the AAC tournament if they're hoping to get the 4th or 5th bid. No way they are getting an at-large unless they go something like 17-1 in the conference.

I think an NCAA bid would be a stretch for this team (Tulsa) right now (barring an incredible conference run like you mentioned). We're playing for the NIT at this point. Which would be on par for my expectations for this season.

Looking forward to watching Tulsa/UConn this evening.

What's the vibe amongst UConn fans w/r/t Akinjo (and Kisunas and Matthews Jr. too) if Ollie is canned? Any special ties to the staff, or would it be the usual process?

I think Kisunas and Matthews would stay regardless. Akinjo is real tight with Ollie and could be a huge loss as Akinjo seems to have those Kemba/Shabazz qualities.

These are the game UCF can’t lose if they want to dance.

I don't think Tulsa would need to go 17-1. But we would certainly need at least one win over all the top schools in the conference. (WSU, SMU, Cincy, and possibly UH)

That’s not a problem for a 3rd place team.

I'd say Tulsa needs a minimum of 12 conference wins just to be on the bubble.
