That was a fun game to watch. UAB did not shoot well, but played good defense. Had a shot at the end. Tough to ask freshmen to step to the line in a high pressure game.

Entertaining game (but I still hate to lose).
I actually thought we’d look way worse.
I’m fascinated that it seemed like over the final 4 mins we were doing offense/defense subs with HaHa in on O, out on D.
FTs were huge

We were very chaotic and seemingly unaware during the last full possession and during the 2.6 second possession, Nick had a chance to get a better look with one dribble. Sigh

We needed to foul earlier, but MT did a great job moving the ball. And those refs were so bad, they weren't going to call anything quickly anyway. We did good to get 2.7 seconds.

How did the game end?

And with 55 seconds left, we should have gone 2 for 1.

It's funny that 2 for one is rarely done in college, and is such a staple in the NBA. I don't know why.

Perry's missed dunk that resulted in a dunk at the other end was the difference in the game I think.

They did a great job keeping Coke far enough from the basket to limit his effectiveness.

Davis does a great job.

Lee has to do more within 15 feet. He should model his game after King.

Agreed. We lost that game when we ran 8 FN seconds of clock unable to properly foul. Inexcusable. The Jalen missed dunk / dunk on the other end was a 4-point swing. Probably the most entertaining game I’ve watched all year. Hopefully we are better as a team when we see them again.

Gene would have won that game and 80% like them.

Also not having the ability to call timeouts from the bench was a killer on our last offensive possession. We were so discombobulated but luckily Scootie bailed us out.

We only went 7 deep except for 2 minutes for Gueye. And 2 fouls and an out of control 3.
He is not ready yet.

We kept our turnovers down. If we rebounded a little better and make one more 3, we win.

I complain a lot about TV game production, but Stadium is the absolutely best concept and production I have ever seen. I love it. Wish all of our games were on it. The repertoire with the fans online and between the sideline and playbyplay guys is engaging.
