TD called back in first half for lineman down field. I was an Offensive Lineman at Memphis and this is the most bogus call there is if it doesn't affect a play. Memphis misses field goal 7 point loss
DB has interception in end zone but review shows failure to control after contact with the ground. Iowa State scores TD on drive 7 point differential loss
Memphis intercepts but very questionable roughing QB negates and Iowa State scores TD on that drive 7 point differential
21 point turnaround

Iowa State loses control on apparent TD
7 point loss

21-7 = 14 points

1 point difference in final score. Could have been a different game completely. If those are excuses they are pretty good ones.

In the interests of being thorough and fair:
There was a pass (possible 3rd down?) early in the game Miller caught that he really didn't catch. Around mid-field. could have been a drive killer, we may have scored on that drive, I don't remember. But that would only be an additional 7 points off. We still win by 6 points.
