Deeper dive into statistics
We started a series of posts on Always a Dragon that takes a better look at how Drexel plays based on analytics and statistics.

This week, with help from Dan, I took a look at what our formula for success has been...

I liked reading that. http://www.rpiforecast.com/confs/CAA.html expects you to go 7-11 in the CAA.

Backing on that Evan, I threw out our conference preview last night. For the 10th consecutive years, it'll upset Hofstra fans. Actually, maybe they are onto something...

RE: Deeper dive into statistics
I didn't know how poorly Hofstra's opponents have shot free throws. Hofstra's opponents have shot free throws .663, which is worse than every CAA team. https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basket...-throw-pct only includes games with two Division I teams and says Hofstra is 15th, Elon is 23rd, and William & Mary is 42nd in opponents' free throw percentage, with the four best being much worse than William & Mary. In Hofstra's six wins in one possession games or overtime, Hofstra has shot free throws over .100 better than their opponents, .763 to .656.
